             COMPETITION IN OCEAN CITY, MD                                                      

April 28 - May 1, 2011

 Our rehearsals, and hard work have paid off for us.  This weekend we were awarded 593 points for our efforts on the competition stage.  Those hard earned points brought us third place in the mid size chorus contest, our highest placement EVER in that division, and 4th place overall, out of 24 choruses.  We are thrilled with our medals and thank all of our family and friends for their support and encouragement as we prepared for our performance. We also want to thank our coaches, Di Porsch and Pam Calveric and Maureen Holcombe for their guidance and their faith in us.  And most of all, we couldn't do it without our director, Ann.....the best of the best!  See our performance below!!

We love to entertain by putting on our own musical events each year for the community, our friends, and families. We produce and perform an annual show, featuring  the Altoona Chorus, guest performers from Sweet Adelines International and area performers. 

We are under the direction of Ann George, who inspires us to reach new heights with each performance.  Ann has been directing the chorus since 1978, and has many awards and achievements to her credit.   We can be heard throughout the year, singing for civic and charitable organizations, private groups, churches, community events, and fundraisers.
